Ford Bronco: Will History Repeat Like Jeep Wrangler?
The Ford Ranger pickup and Ford Bronco were two of the stars at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show and will make their return to the market in the US.
The Ford Ranger heading to the US isn’t going to be that much different from the global spec Ranger, while the Ford Bronco should remain true to its heritage, according to the American president of Ford.
This means that the Ford Bronco should arrive as an SUV that will be capable of going off the road. At the moment we don’t know if the vehicle is going to arrive with two or four doors but it has been promised to be instantly recognisable.
The executive chairman of Ford gave confirmation that the Ford Ranger and the Ford Bronco will have the body-on-frame and this has the base of the T6 architecture from Australia.
What Ford is saying is that the Ford Bronco is going to be an off the road vehicle that is more than capable and this should ring some bells with fans of Jeep.
Jeep said just the same thing about the new Jeep Wrangler. So along with the Wrangler the Ford Bronco should offer the same heritage 4×4 appeal.
